Phở Gia Truyền Bát Đàn . Established for 80 years, Pho Bat Dan is known not only because of its excellent pho but also for its unique queueing culture, which has been occurring for decades. And I have always had the belief that if people are prepared to wait to get served and the majority of the customers are local then the food must be good. This small ancient looking restaurant is one of small number of places in Ha Noi which promote self serving and queueing culture, giving it a unique homely feel. It is also one of the few places that serve both raw slices of beef and aged beef (like iberico ham). The broth is made with real bones and the has a sweet aroma. The taste is balanced between sweetness and saltiness. The onions also contribute to the overall taste and smell. Everything look so simple yet addictive. I highly recommend you to try this out if you have a chance to visit Ha Noi Vietnam
