Categories Dessert Ingredients 250g toasted black sesame seeds 200g roasted unsalted peanuts 200g raw (demerara) sugar 250ml water 400ml of coconut milk 2 Pandan leaves or pandan essence 5ml Instructions Put the sesame seeds and peanuts in a food processor and chop until the mix is finely ground. Meanwhile, put the raw sugar and 250ml of water in a saucepan over low heat. Gently bring the syrup to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add the ground sesame and peanuts along with 350ml of coconut milk and the pandan. Cook the soup, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes or until it thickens. Remove the pandan leaves. Spoon the soup into six bowls and garnish with the remaining coconut milk and white sesame seeds.
