WHO IS VIETNAM FOOD SAFARI? 

12 years ago, I was a burned-out chef on holiday in central Vietnam's seaside town of Hoi An. I had no interest in cooking and no plans for the future.

 

Suddenly I owned a fifth stake in a restaurant serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

 

I started my collision with Vietnamese culture with little knowledge of Vietnam and no command of the language.

 

What transpired during my life living in Vietnam is this website, a compilation of classic Vietnamese dishes, the best of Vietnam cuisine, I discovered, which highlight the culinary genius of Vietnam.

Street vendors, market stalls, hidden side street restaurants, and most importantly, home style everyday Vietnamese cooking reignited the fires of inspiration in this exhausted and unmotivated chef as I journeyed across Vietnam.

I developed into a "vietnamese food junkie," continuously in pursuit of the finest Vietnamese cuisine, recipes, and culture.

 

Although Pho and Banh Mi are delicious, most tourists visiting Vietnam never even try the many other delectable dishes that the country has to offer.
